About

My name is Angel, I’m currently residing in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. In 2020 I completed a semester at the USD Community College for Graphic Design. From 2021-2023 I completed an associate’s degree in Marketing and in Business Administration from Southeast Technical College. Now I am staying at Southeast Tech, while I complete an associates degree in Media Design Technology. 

I have recently started participating in the Film Club at Southeast Tech, and I am looking forward to completing collaborative film/design projects with classmates. I am also getting the opportunity to represent the Film Club in the Student Government this semester. 

I have been loving exploring the areas of storyboarding, filming, video editing, photography, photo editing, and designing effective art. I have been working on extra projects outside of school, so I can learn more about new software and develop my creative skills. I have taken some photos for my coworkers’ kids birthday party as well as maternity photos for free to gain experience. I have also recently started doing more photo editing on my own time to enhance my skills. 

I will be graduating from the Media Design Technology program in May of 2025, but I am eager to get my feet in the door and start working on projects. I will be doing a lot more with page layouts, web design, and working on gaining more experience in the design field. 

My Story

Art has always fascinated me and been my calling. When I was younger I loved to draw people, clothes, and cats. I also loved to create stories. Getting older, I started to create more drawings with mostly pencils and colored pencils. I love being able to bring ideas to life and bring out feelings through visuals. I’m very glad that I have found the field of Graphic Design, because it is teaching me how to create more effective designs.
